The South Williamsport Education Foundation serves as the selection committee for several scholarships for SWASD graduates.

Nolan W. Fesser Scholarship
This award, given in memory of Nolan Fesser, is our largest scholarship, totaling $12,000 over 4 years. It is awarded each year to two graduating seniors with outstanding academic records.
John A. Savoy Scholarship
This award is given in memory of John Savoy and is awarded to a student who exhibits good citizenship and community involvement.
Jane Onzik Memorial Award
This award is given in the memory of the late Jane Onzik, an exceptional teacher who taught Spanish in the South Williamsport Area School District. To honor this exceptional teacher, her relatives and friends established this award, which is given to a graduating senior who plans to major in secondary education. Preference will be given to those majoring in Spanish.
Ryan D. Jones Memorial Scholarship
This award is given in memory of Ryan Jones, a 2008 graduate of South Williamsport High School. The fund was established by his family and is awarded to a student with the most compelling essay regarding safety.
Clarabelle S. & Otis F. Williams Jr. Scholarship
This award is given in memory of Clarabelle and Otis Williams, who was a math teacher in the SWASD. It is awarded to a graduating senior who has excelled in mathematics.
